Many of us met together for the LIVE YouTube ceremony on my channel this past Sunday for Imbolc (and Full Moon blessings, too!). If you missed the broadcast, please click on the link below and give yourself about an hour to complete your ceremony work with Brigid.
This year’s ceremony included a direct path working to Brigid of the Forge. We worked together to create a magical artifact to help us heal from the frenetic pace of 2022 (the inability to process our grief), and to prepare our armor for the power of our own choices for 2023. Enjoy!
Sadly, there were some snafus with the notifications for my subscribers, and a few of you reported that you never received the YouTube link. I am so very sorry for that; and I have a solution!
Both Facebook LIVE and YouTube LIVE have drastically changed their software in the past few months, which directly affects small businesses (like mine). In order to ensure that all ~2200 of you wonderful folx receive effective notification for upcoming LIVE events, I have started a Patreon account! This helps me to follow up with each individual supporter, provide the community with direct access to my ceremonial work, and for high-level supporters, provide one-on-one teaching and mentoring.
I hope to meet these technological challenges with this new format, and I thank you all for supporting me for over a decade, aaaoooooooo!
This LIVE ceremony will be held on her YouTube channel. Please click on the link, Subscribe, and make your way to Rev. Monika Kojote’s YouTube Channel five minutes before the start-time. YouTube will provide ALL subscribers with a direct link to the LIVE ceremony!
A donation of $15 is a HUGE help in supporting this work for the magical and spiritual communities, Danke Shön!

This workshop is open to all spiritual healers, leaders, and philosophers who not only have a solid background in active meditation techniques & shadow work, but who wish to learn the deep, profound nature of the embodied Soul (human, animal, plant, land, etc).
These techniques were originally passed via Sandra Ingerman’s lineage of teachings (2010 and again in 2013). After receiving & integrating these lessons from the spirits, the healing techniques have been adapted by building in additional philosophies from different lineage transmissions (i.e., Nepal, Japan, Ireland). Rev. Monika Kojote has facilitated soul retrieval healing for over 12 years in her public shamanic practice.
This will be the fourth round of teachings for the public, and she adds educational aspects from Indo-European folk magic, Western Occultism, and Celtic Druidry. Additionally, she empowers this work with the strict ethical codes from her 20+ years in various health & human services fields (psychology, shamanism, and clergy).
In order to receive a certificate of completion, attendees must attend all three days of this training, including the final ritual on Sunday. Due to the advanced nature of the teachings, attendees must balance receiving the lessons both online AND in person (negative COVID test required).
Schedule:
Friday
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM– Online Day (Zoom link will be sent to paid attendees)
The cost of this 3-day workshop is $250, which is payable via cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. For students who have already taken this course and are interested in re-taking it, the price is only $125. Please email me at monikakojote@gmail.com for questions.
I am ecstatic to share this life-changing, miraculous work with you, and to start the new year of 2023 in a profoundly healing way!
Guten tag, meine Lieblings! After some major snafus with technology and power outages (life in the Appalachian Mountains!), we were able to gather together in sacred community and honor the loving darkness of the year.
Due to Facebook’s new copyright infringement bullshit, I am unable to download a copy of my own ceremony, grr. Please feel free to follow the link below for your own viewing pleasure and healing magics! And for those who are both willing & able to support my work with the public, donations may be made here. Danke shön!
(Sadly, you must have a Facebook account to view this, my deepest apologies…)
Rev. Monika will begin with a sharing of some of her Germanic folk traditions before the purification of the healing space and the Druid ceremony. All are welcome, no matter what age and/or spirituality, and an individual Rune reading will be given to those who attend the LIVE session and comment with their consent for it to be read in Community.
FINAL NOTE: Please have a candle with you for this ceremony & healing. Beeswax and/or soy wax are the best, as other materials contain ingredients that affect how the wax burns down.
The holiday season has begun here in the States, and instead of gently retreating into Inner Sanctum time, Hermit time, and recuperation time, most of us actually “speed up” and try to add even more tasks, social visits, and travels to our packed schedules.
The month of December, during ancestral times, focused on keeping both animals and humans alive during the coldest months. Conserving energy, carefully portioning food, but also celebrating all of the hard work of the entire year for survival. The exchange of stories, adventures, hospitality, and gifts strengthened not only social and familial bonds, but magical bonds too (for those that work with the Runes, this is the heart of GEBO).
As modern Druids, shamans, and spiritual folx, our magical, energetic, etheric, and auric bodies are constantly trying to balance the “going inward” ancestral impetus with the externalized “social and familial responsibilities.” Not only does this lead to exhaustion (especially after a rough, traumatic, and/or chaotic holiday season), it can drain our boundaries, reserves of energy, and our connection to ” ” that exists outside of ourselves.
No matter what your training, spiritual practice, or understanding of the complexities of the Universe, Salt is the greatest gift of our Earth Mother for healing and recuperation.
Salt, chemically written as NaCl (sodium chloride)*, has many layers of healing properties. It is vitally important to our Oceans (which make up 75% of the planet Earth), and is representative of the Element of Earth in countless rituals, ceremonies, and religious offerings. Chemically, it is a balanced and stable compound, and when its chemical bonds break, it releases negatively-charged ions. It is part of the mammalian body system, and certain levels must be maintained for heart function, electrolytes, brain chemistry, etc. Magically, it is a great energy neutralizer and banisher, and has been used in house clearings, Psychopomp rituals, work/offfice “resets”, and restorative rites.**
Personally, it is one of the best ways that humans can reset and rebalance their own energy fields. Salt baths and salt scrubs (if one prefers a shower) are excellent ways in which one can release the tension and “energy-projections-from-others.” Many spiritual practitioners also use salt in their own ritual purification baths, both before and after great ceremonies. Salt helps to release built-up energy (whether positive or negative), and can help ground an over-abundance of psychic phenomena.
If you are struggling with “leaving work at work,” or “feeling drained after difficult conversations with loved ones,” then try a salt bath or use a salt scrub in the shower. There are many varieties, such as Sea Salt, Himalayan Salt, Hawaiian Black Salt, and regular table salt (without Iodine works best), but please make sure that it is sodium chloride (NaCl). It is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to restore one’s sovereignty of Self, and can also be good preparation before a Shamanic Healing Ceremony.
*Sodium Chloride (NaCl) is functionally different from Epsom Salts, which are Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4). While Epsom Salts feel wonderful for muscle pain and spasm, they are a completely different “magical substance,” used for Auric/Higher Self workings. Sodium Chloride is much more effective for the specific uses of neutralizing energies within a home and within a body.
**Note: Salt should NEVER be used in land rituals or land clearings. It damages grass, plants, and soil, and can actually destroy the energetic state of an area (bringing it to “zero” instead of “neutral”; a major distinction).
We will commune with our own familial ancestors, discuss how the ancestral Celtic tribes prepared for winter, and seek out healing for our own generational bloodlines.
Join Rev. Monika Kojote on a stroll along the C&O Canal Towpath on Sunday, 23rd October, between 11am and 2pm, and discover the healing plants that arrive in Autumn! The cost of this ~3 hour experiential workshop is $30, payable via cash, Venmo (@MonikaCoyote) or PayPal.
We will meet at the large Parking Lot for the Brunswick, MD train station (look for the blue Mazda 3 with Coyote-plates and the bouncing Druid with a sign!) and travel to the paths through the woods together.
Items needed for the safety of attendees (all activities are at the attendees’ own risk):
— comfortable walking shoes (we will be on a flat gravel trail, no hills, for 3 miles round trip) — water (between 1.5 to 2L, depending on your needs) — bug spray, sunscreen (the weather can be changeable!) — extra $ if you wish to dine at Beans in the Belfry upon the end of the hike and blessings!
Space is limited to 10 in order to provide an in-depth exploration of each plant; please mark yourself as “Going” on the Facebook Event and prepay to ensure your spot!
Greetings from the Mountain Farm! The trees are just starting to show gold underneath their summer green, the new piglets are getting stronger, and the past month has brought a slooooooooow down (in preparation for Druid Sabbatical).
On August 1st, I celebrated 8 years as a full-time shaman, which is a major milestone for me & my business! I’ve worked as a professional Druid healer since April 30th, 2010, but on Lughnasadh 8 years ago, I quit my psychologist job. I have studied & worked with clients in ceremony as a full-time spiritual healer and Druid clergy person ever since!
Recently, I was able to volunteer my skills in a healing workshop at Frederick Pagan Pride Day. I’ve been a part of this glorious event since its inception many years ago, and like most of us, I missed spiritual community over the worst of the pandemic years…
My ceremony was a small taste of the larger healing ritual I will be leading at Sacred Space/Between the Worlds conference in April 2023. This healing journey brought the spiritual community to Medusa and her Labyrinth of Statues. Attendees confronted their own “statues of fear” that were frozen in space/time, and all were supported by the powerful grid of crystals, stones, minerals, sacred woods, and Medusa herself!

This outdoor workshop was also the first time I presented with my HOH disability. I was able to use ASL for the first 4-5 minutes of my presentation; I even made the sign for “coyote” when introducing my name! But it was extremely difficult to not only project my voice loud enough to be heard over the multiplicity of sound, but also to hear any questions that attendees asked. I am looking forward to figuring out new & creative ways around these limitations…

Today & tomorrow mark the traditional Anglo-Saxon honoring of the Autumnal Equinox. It’s not celebrated in the same fashion within Celtic cultures, but with my Irish and German ancestry, I try to balance each culture’s four celebratory days throughout the year.
This year, the Equinox coincides with my Druid Sabbatical– I am traveling to NEPAL! In fact, I am typing this on my wee tablet here at JFK, as I await my flight to Kathmandu. My jhankri/shamanic teacher has asked me (and others) to join in a shamanic summit that is gathering healers from around the world! My experiences both living and working in the greater Washington D.C. area these past few years will be shared with others, in the hopes that we can discover ways to help each of our country’s most disabled, disenfranchised, and dysregulated people. I can’t wait to learn new healing techniques, share some of my own, and create a foundation of healing that will travel to ALL who have suffered with trauma & soul loss!
Stay tuned as I share photos, experiences, and “aha!” moments, when I have a dedicated WiFi connection! Aaaaoooooooo!
The frantic, frenetic, and frustrating energies of Summer are slowly winding down, but many of us are discovering that it is impossible to do the same.
The start of a new school year, a new job, a new hobby, or a new system to “restructure my life” usually brings curiosity, excitement, motivation, and hope. But many of us have found that we no longer have the same brain capacity, tolerance, and resiliency as we did during the Before Times (before COVID-19).
Please join Rev. Monika Kojote in a 2.5-hour workshop on shamanic practices that help to address our Anxious Minds & Bodies. This class will include techniques within both the physical and metaphysical worlds, and guidance for starting a partnership with a Helping Spirits who may bring support during moments of panic.
The cost of this workshop is $25, and a recording will be made for all paid attendees to keep!
